This is a 1-year course:
3 terms
Each term will have 10 session
One of the objectives of this session is to familiarise with the translation, explanation, and interpretation of the Holy Quran's major passages in a plain and simple English language.
This will have the opportunity to evaluate your individual progress throughout the course and will have the opportunity to interact with the tutor on our lively sessions.
Another objective is to understand the reasons and historical context of the revealed verses of the Holy Quran.
This will allow understanding the Classical Arabic texts of the Holy Quran and their contextual implications.
This will also give another opportunity to understand the major themes in the Holy Quran, the Prophethood of the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. The importance of remembering Allah, and having a constant relationship with Allah the creator. Individual's responsibility towards the community, the society, also the importance of caring and protecting nature, and the concept of life after death.

All, as published before, we have successfully conducted 10 weeks Quran course for teenagers within our community, classes were lead by well-known Islamic scholar and author Dr. Musharraf Hussain OBE. In this course, Dr. Musharraf taught 'Surath Yoosuf' to children. It was not just reading the meaning and passing through it, instead, Dr extracted key character-building subjects out of it and compared with current affairs which are familiar to children, for example, Respect towards parents, the relationship between brothers, kindness, social responsibility, how to avoid jealously, not to take revenge, etc...all these points are hidden in the story of Prophet Yoosuf Alaihissalam. Dr then explained these and compared them with current affairs like TV interviews by Oprah Winfrey episode, etc, and taught the importance of family and parents and responsibilities, etc, etc. Considering children's interest and cooperation, Dr. Musharraf offered the 2nd term with another 10 weeks course starting on 6th April, in this we will cover 'Surath Yaseen'. If your children interested, please register. 45 children were registered for the last term and they don't need to register again.

Al Ihsan Academy and Karimia Institute are joined together to run a weekly Quran lesson for our teenagers aged between 12 and 20. The objective of the course is to enrich our teenagers' understanding of Quran and give an insight into the relevance of the Quran in modern society.
